Edit PDF
Add text, images and shapes to a PDF, straight in the browser.

Work on the page, not around it
The document opens on a canvas where you can put things where they belong.
Add text anywhere
Place text on the page - fill in a blank, add a note, correct a label - without converting the document to something else and back again.
Images and shapes
Drop in a logo, a photograph or a shape, and position it. Useful for stamping, covering, annotating or finishing a document someone else produced.
See the page while you work
Editing happens on the page itself rather than in a settings panel, so what you place is where it will be in the finished PDF.
Edit a PDF without the original file
Most PDFs that need changing arrive without their source document. A form to complete, a contract with one wrong date, a flyer that needs a new phone number - the file exists, the thing that made it does not, and buying a PDF suite for a five-minute change is disproportionate.
Editing directly on the page avoids the whole round trip. There is no conversion to Word and back, which is the step that rearranges layouts and creates a second version to keep track of.
Fill in a form that was never a form
Plenty of documents look like forms without being interactive ones: a scanned application, an exported template, a PDF made by printing something. There is nowhere to type, and the usual answer is to print it, write on it and scan it back.
Placing text on the page does the same job without the printer. Put the answers where the lines are, and the finished document stays clean and legible rather than becoming a grey photograph of a page.
Edit a PDF in the browser, on any device
There is nothing to install and no subscription to a desktop suite. The editor runs from a browser tab, which means it works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, including on a machine where you cannot install software.
Upload from your device, from a link or from cloud storage, up to 50 MB without an account.
Your document stays yours
Rearranging a document usually means the document matters. These are the guarantees that come with it.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Everything moves over TLS with modern ciphers, and personal data is held in encrypted storage.
Automated, with nobody watching
No person opens your PDF. The work is done by software, no copies are taken, and no backup of a user file is kept.
German company, GDPR rules
The service is run by QaamGo Web GmbH under the GDPR. Your copyright and ownership never change hands.

Frequently asked questions about editing PDFs
Is it free to edit a PDF?
Yes. Edit PDF is free and needs no account. Files up to 50 MB can be edited without registering, and a free account or a paid plan raises that limit.
Can I edit the text that is already in the PDF?
The editor places new text, images and shapes onto the page. To rework the existing body text of a document, convert it to Word, edit there, and convert back.
Can I fill in a PDF form?
Yes, including documents that only look like forms. Place text where the lines are - no printing and scanning.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The editor runs in a browser tab, so it works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS without any software.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
You can write on top of it, which covers most of what people need. The scan itself is an image, so to work with its words make the PDF searchable first.
Is it safe to edit a PDF online?
Yes. The connection is encrypted, the work is done by software rather than by people, and no backup of a user file is kept. You keep the ownership and the copyright of the document, and the service is run by QaamGo Web GmbH, a German company, under the GDPR.
